Thanks for taking the time to check out my website.
I learned photography, like many people, during high school. As I got older, photography changed from simply a fun pass-time into something more: a passion, a way for me to keep myself in the moment, a constant during the turbulent times of life. A way to create.
I moved to Saint Louis with my wife in 2015. We knew almost nothing about the city or the state we were moving into: it was scary, and exciting. As with any tipping point in life, this move became the catalyst that kicked off my current artistic trajectory. I found myself reclaiming a part of me that enjoyed being in the outdoors so much when I was young. I quickly discovered Missouri’s hidden beauty, and during the three years I spent in Saint Louis I visited 48 parks and natural areas throughout the state, as well as a number of other parks across the country.
Now, in 2019, I find myself in another new city: Alexandria, VA. As I set off on this latest adventure, I know that the coming years will be just as great as, if not better than, the last three.
